Faculty members’ duties (professor, assistant professor, lecturer, assistant lecturer, teaching assistant):

1. Providing undergraduate and graduate teaching in accordance with the college’s correct academic policy and plan, and providing additional teaching to students when necessary.
2.  Preparing and setting up tests related to the subjects taught to students, and carrying out all related work: (writing questions, correcting, careful review, and entering them into the computer).
3.  Supervising classroom and supplementary research.
4.  Supervising doctoral and master’s theses according to college regulations.
5. Cooperate with members and individuals of the department to which they belong to participate in developing academic and strategic plans for the department to which they belong.
6.  Attend department council sessions, contribute to them, and vote on their decisions and recommendations when assigned to do so.
7.  Participation in conferences, seminars and scientific and academic meetings, whether inside or outside the college, in light of what is decided by the department or college.
8.  Submitting the necessary periodic reports requested by the college or academic departments, and filling out questionnaires, forms, etc.

Faculty members’ rights:

1. All faculty members are entitled to various leaves of absence in accordance with the college regulations.
2.  Every faculty member is entitled to receive a financial reward in exchange for being assigned an administrative task in addition to performing their primary work.
3.  All faculty members have the right to attend workshops, scientific seminars, scientific meetings and scientific conferences.
4.  All faculty members who have fulfilled the various requirements and conditions are eligible for promotion.
